1.This series machine is suitable for machining short but large diameter workpiece and thinwalled cylinder.With high speed steel or carbide-tipped tools,these machines can carry out the following operations on the materials of steel,cast-iron or light alloy:cylindrical turning and boring,tapering,surfacing,slotting and cutting-off,etc.
2.The main drive is of A.C. system with 18 steps or D.C. system which adopts speeds regulation by field and voltage controls as well as matches a mechanical speed change of four steps.
3.Feed system is driven by A.C. motor(DES-FT160, DES-FT250) or D.C. motor(DES-FT315, DES-FT800).
4.The spindle of the headstock is supported by precision roller bearings.
5.This series machine can be provided with extension type,and CNC type can also be provided.
